The Oswego Players recently elected a new board of directors
to lead the organization through their upcoming 80th anniversary season.

The newly elected board includes Paul McKinney, as President of the board. Paul has been involved with theater his whole life as an administrator, director and actor. Paul is also the president and owner operator of Educational Resources and a former Special Ed teacher in the Liverpool school district.

Steven Standish was elected Vice President of Operations. Steve became involved with Oswego Players as an actor and theater tech person. He also recently served as stage manager for the Theater Du Jour production of Hot Gold. Steve's day job is a sales representative.

Sonia Lough Berlin will serve as Vice President of Production. Sonia has been involved with the Oswego Players for several years as box office manager, costumer, as a stage mother and wife and as an administrator, Sonia is employed at the Oswego City Teachers Association Credit Union.

Inez Manor Parker, was elected as Secretary of the Players. Inez has served as President and nearly every other administrative office for the Oswego Players. She has also directed, produced, acted, and sung with almost every theater company in Central New York, most recently directing Agatha Christie's Fiddler 's Three for the Players. Inez retired from Oswego State University, as a Librarian.

Liz MacIntosh, will serve as Treasurer. Liz became involved with the Players when her children started performing with the group. Since then she has served backstage and as box office and house manager. She is employed as a science teacher by the Mexico School District.

Ken Snow, was elected Finance Officer.. Ken has been building sets for the Players for several years and has also appeared on stage in many productions. He is employed by Onondaga County as a Power Plant Operator.

Tammy Wilkinson was selected as Producer. She involved with theater almost every day of her life as she is the Owner and Artistic Director of the Theater Du Jour Company.

Richard Mosher, will act as Fund Raiser for the Players. Richard has designed lights and operated the light board for most of the Players productions for the last several years. He also has acted in and directed several productions for the group.

Tobie MacIntosh will serve as Liaison Officer. Like his wife, Liz, Tobie became involved with the Players through his children. Tobie has served for many years as an administrator and as the organization's photographer and videographer. He is employed as a Tech Support Specialist at CITI Oswego County (BOCES).

The Oswego Players was founded as part of the "Little Theater Movement" in 1938 by the late Oswego High School Drama Director Frances Marion Brown. Since then the group has produced several productions a year at first using borrowed or rented space, then later renovating the old commissary building at Fort Ontario into their own theater space. That space named after the organization's founder now presents up to six shows a year including dramas, mysteries, comedies, musicals, and children's theater. The new board hopes to keep this momentum going for another 80 years.
