Have we got a show for you!  The Oswego Players had great fun with the production of Dearly Departed this fall. The playwright Jessie Jones gave us a hilarious play that delighted all those who attended a performance.

Jones, along with her colleague writers Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, has done it again. This time, we meet four unique Southern women who are unexpectedly drawn together and decide it is high time they reclaim the excitement for life they seem to have lost through the years.

Over the course of six months, filled with hilarious misadventures and the occasional liquid refreshments, they share at their Sipping Society gatherings, they discover lasting friendships and renewed determination to live in the moment. Together they realize it’s never too late to make new old friends.

So, here’s your chance to step up and out when the show opens in early April.  Come on over to the Civic Ats Center of Oswego, 30 Barbara Donahue Drive, April 8th, or 9th at 1 pm.  We will give you a chance to pre-read a portion of the script, get familiar with the characters, and then show your stuff.

Come on now! You know you want to try. And we would love to have you join us.
