Lawrence E. Rose was an actor, set builder, tech operator and stage manger. The Oswego Players awards a performing arts scholarship each year in his honor. The applicant must be a high school senior residing in the county of Oswego with the intent of majoring in the performing arts. . The applicant must be college bound when they submit the application with the intent of studying from an accredited two- or four-year institution. The scholar award is $250 to be paid directly to the winner of the scholarship. Donations from the community assist us in continuing the Lawrence E. Rose Scholarship.
