Marion Elizbeth Green was a playwright, performing arts reviewer for the Oswego Palladium-Times and patron of the Oswego Players. The Oswego Players awards a English Writing Arts Scholarship each year in her honor. The applicant must be a high school senior residing in the county of Oswego with the intent of majoring in the field of English Writing Arts. The applicant must be college bound when they submit the application with the intent of studying from an accredited two- or four-year institution. The scholar award is $250 to be paid directly to the winner of the scholarship. Donations from the community assist us in continuing the Marion Green Scholarship.
